Developers / Programmers (3 vacancies)

We are looking for candidates to join our Research and Development team in APIIT Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) campus.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in IT related subject
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming
  • Strong mathematical background will be an advantage
  • Malaysian citizens and those with residence status are preferred
  • APIIT students are encouraged to apply

Senior Lecturer

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Make significant contributions to the teaching effort of the Institute, play a leading role in academic development and scholarship, and continually develop professional expertise.
  • Be involved in curriculum development and review, and the development of teaching and learning assessment material, and perform academic group leadership.

Lecturer

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for monitoring and reviewing the work of staff working within the designated areas of responsibility.
  • Supervise and monitor the achievement of a sound standard by staff performing delegated administrative and clerical tasks.

Administrative Executive

We invite applications candidates with a relevant Diploma/Degree qualification for the post Administrative Executive.

Candidates appointed as Admin Executives will be responsible for the management of work in any of the following functional areas:

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Administer assessment procedures
  • Administer and manage the examination process
  • Coordinate activities relevant to the external moderation and exam boards
  • Coordinate activities relevant to the overseas sites

Successful candidates will also monitor and review work of junior staff.

Applications not meeting the Administrative Executive requirements will be considered for the post of Administrative Assistant; in which position the successful candidate will carry out administrative duties in the areas of assessment, student and academic record maintenance, student attendance and fee collection.

Administrative Assistant (Scheduling)

We also seek candidates with similar work experience to join us as Administrative Assistant within our Scheduling unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Preparation timetable of lectures
  • Preparation of workload matrix
  • Proper utilisation and maintenance of lecture rooms and labs
  • Distribution and tracking of company cars.
  • Providing logistical support.

Logistics Assistant

We seek young, disciplined individuals capable of working under minimum supervision, on rotating shifts, in carrying out:

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Electrical, mechanical and plumbing maintenance work
  • Airport pick up of students and guests
  • Check-in students into accommodation units
  • Check-out students from accommodation units

Candidates must be able to communicate well in the English Language and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other dialects and languages will be an advantage. Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and candidates with a bus driving licence will have an advantage.
